• This specific adapted book is something I designed trying out a few key elements: TWO pages of adapted icons (one for the # the other for the animal). touch math to the number of icons to appeal to the teachers in the group but also because it an amazing visual for students. Students can pretend they are a scuba diver and count the animals they see. There is a consistent carrier phrase throughout the book.
